angryoptimist@uint8_t Honestly, I kinda wish they'd just retcon all the non-utopic DNA out of Star Trek and give it another honest try. Or even do that repeatedly. I wouldn't mind if it continually changed as we (or the writers) learned how to be less shitty.
@angryoptimist it's a storytelling vehicle and often not a bad one. sure it's quirky and silly, but that's I think already part of the charm.
