How does 2FA work on Lemmy? - Lemmy

When I try to add 2FA, I see the following in my settings, but clicking on it tries to open some external program through my browser: [https://lemmy.world/pictrs/image/a76d908e-359e-4339-b7bc-084f81d9ad1e.png] I just want to add an OTP through my 2FA app on my phone. Does lemmy not support this? How do I use what it does have? I saw this [https://github.com/LemmyNet/lemmy/issues/2363] issue on GitHub, which appears to say that 2FA was added, but I’m not sure if it is referring to this or something else.

i want this for my personal instance…

Whilst it’s not as good a conversion as the one you posted, there’s a violentmonkey script that does a pretty good job too

Compact Lemmy to old.Reddit Re-format (Lemmy v0.18)

Reformat widescreen desktop to look more like Reddit

Why not post the link? Bit confusing.
I think I've already grown attached to my customized Kbin look, because my first reaction was yuck. Pretty cool that someone went to all that effort, it looks like the real thing.

My first time visiting reddit, I thought the UI was so ugly.

My last time visiting reddit, I thought the UI is still so ugly.

How safe is it to log in to a lemmy instance through this? Seems like it could easily be used for phishing.

Right, I tried logging in and got a cloudflare error page.

I changed my password just in case.

This is great. Anyone know if the source code is available? I didn’t see an obvious link. I had been thinking of setting something like that up for myself.
