“I Am Thinking Of Ending Things” by Iain Reid was definitely not what I expected when starting to read it. The expectations went from a simple short story about a woman trying to find her place in relationships, to love story with elements of thriller, to a supernatural horror, to the “there’s a creepy murderous family”, to the “there’s a killer”, and finally to a heart-wrenching tragedy of one broken and fractured person. Would cautiously recommend to those interested.
