"The United States Advisory Commission on Public Diplomacy is a bipartisan body and does not allow for more than four of its seven members appointed by the president to be from any one political party, according to the State Department."

Perhaps Elliott Abrams was the least evil Republican Biden could find for the job.

The fact that biden is putting this ghoul on a *Public Diplomacy* commission is an outrage, and he'll be lucky if it doesn't blow up in his face.
I wouldn't be surprised if some people stay home on election day because of straws on the camel's back like this

I wasn't joking about the party balance rule.

Recalling his evil history, I don't dispute that he's Evil.

But with so much of the Republican party -- almost every politician who hasn't retired from elective office -- turning into minions of the twice-impeached racist misogynist fascist idiot mobster, Reagan era evil looks like the lesser evil.

Still, seems like there must be some Lincoln Project type Republicans who are still "noble opposition" and not minions of Putin's puppet.
