OllyUs officials are planning to further restrict #chinese access to US based cloud computing resources such as #AWS and microsoft #azure used for developing #AI. Restrictions will be used to keep Chinese firms from circumventing US export restrictions on key technology enacted last fall (#chip act). The Commerce Department is set to announce the development in the near future as an extension of its #semiconductor export control policy.
