@stux if they really think fb wants there data so bad what makes them think it hasn't already started up instances under a different name on the fediverse.

It's a billion dollar company, they could be running instances all over the fediverse and we would never know. But as soon as that meta name gets slapped on it everyone's hair catches fire.

This is still social media people. Your data is not private from the big corporations or the government here or anywhere else.
