Maša KepicLoads more ticks everywhere as winters not been cold enough to kill them. Increase in Lyme disease and a couple other rarer tick-borne ones. Worth checking regularly.
LukeB_MTB@masakepic I've found two on the dog recently, both on his head and muzzle from sniffing in long grass. Neither had fully embedded and begun feeding thankfully.

A moose died from them in Canada as it lost so much blood!
@masakepic We're lucky has such short fur (hair?) - it does make them easier to spot.
