Parents aren’t as conservative as the right likes to think

Or, at least, parents of actual children aren't.

That's a well-worn trope... though there are exceptions. I'm Gen X (57), have 2 adult children, and I'm progressive verging on radical now. But in the '80s and '90s, I naively believed the neoliberal bullshit of the time and was center-right. Now I see trickle-down was a lie, the system is broken, and the planet is on fire because of extractivism, capitalism, colonialism. Rage against the machine, baby!👊🏽💪🏽
@pbump may be a generational thing as well. Parents with older children tend to be older themselves. Statistically speaking.

@pbump I think there is a problem with this. I think there is a significant correlation with age that is the actual determinate variable here. People who have an adult child are going to be older than people who have a non-adult child, and people without a child could potentially be significantly younger. Obviously there's a significant demographic spread, but I think the actual real variable is age and that this is so much masking that
