I think they are crumbling under the pressure. Maybe skip the fireworks? If only to save the Washington State Dept. of Natural Resources from losing the last shreds of their sanity.

The good ones are better than fireworks, I think.
Cyper Bunk@ryneches @futurebird I'm against these for many reasons, one of which is that these are a thing because they can use them for advertising.
@bageler @futurebird Eh. I'm not a fan of advertising, but the fact that something is sometimes used for ads isn't a great reason to reject it. I mean, music, photography and poetry are used in almost all advertising. And in any event, we already have sky writing, towed signs, blimps...
@ryneches @futurebird drone shows look like power point in the sky. What is the excitement? I like feeling fireworks. Gets to my lizard brain.
@bageler @futurebird Sure, fireworks are certainly a great deal of fun -- for the humans who haven't been traumatized by high explosives. Have you watched a drone show in person, though? I think they're awesome too, but in a different way.
