The best place to see the stars and our own Galaxy is when you get up in the mountains.
My country Bulgaria is a mountain country.
There is a resort near where I live (20 miles) that’s 2500 meters above sea level. I usually go there in the summer (10 times now 🀣🀣❀️)
Just laying down on the grass and watching the night sky ❀️❀️❀️ Seeing millions of stars.
Try it guys! I recommend it.
(I’ve been always in favour of mountain climbing and holiday rather than holiday on the beach)

Stargazing.. We had full moon or close last night ..
Back in poland highest tatras peak is 2499 if correct ..
Where i live in cotswold you find me often stargazing sunsetting on a hill .. highest hill in cotswold with empty sizable empty wild common plain and old woods here and there
