I am looking for some recommendations besides Duck Duck Go and Startpage for privacy respecting search engines that return more than just adverts. I am hoping for some really good content.

🦆@agatha @ablackcatstail I use searx. I did use kagi for awhile (the “paid one” I assume you were referencing).
Sadly that also meant paying attention to the creators’ posts and some of their GitHub responses. Once someone says “ultimate free speech with NO LIMITATIONS” enough times you just figure out ok these dudes are either nazis or racists and I have a policy against paying those people
