Yes, Ivory is an app for Mastodon. It works on the iPhone, iPad and Mac. Not sure about Android and PC. I love it. Purrrrrrrrrrrrrrs

@bigmacdturtle it’s easy to use and I like the layout, I can post media which I couldn’t do with the mastodon app. I changed to Ivory months ago and haven’t looked further. What do you like about Tusky?

@jojoc I didn't know that you couldn't post media with the official app.
You can definitely post media with the Tusky app and set the captions and focal points and all of that stuff. You can also have multiple accounts. That you can switch back and forth between really easily. Just by clicking on the profile picture and picking another account. I have an account and then the girl has a more serious account for her data science work. So it's nice to be able to switch back and forth easily.

@jojoc One thing that I don't like is when you're in the reply window, you can't see the toot that you're replying to. Sometimes I just want to make sure that I hit all of the points. But I can't do that. I have to send and then go back and read the toots again

@bigmacdturtle sounds good. I think the poor mastodon app was struggling with the huge influx of Tweeps coming over from the Bird site. I believe it is ok now for media.

Ivory is a third-party reader for Mastodon, made by the company Tapbots. I like its interface better than the web version but you have to pay for it.
