Thanks to donations we were able to get 3 IV bags and some medical treatment today for our #rescuefoal. Had to shave him to be able to get to all of the ticks, which my wife & the team from West Coast Ecuestre have been working tirelessly on.

The vet tech said #Julio should be feeling much better in a few days once he's nourished and treated.

The young women who initially posted about this on Facebook asked if they could come over to help Julito. They brought their newly purchased tick combs, a pizza and some soda and renamed him so of course we deferred to their call.

Any help and care is welcome.

Now they want to volunteer at West Coast Ecuestre. 🫶🏼

This is the Puerto Rico I know. 🇵🇷♥️
