@emptywheel I don't know who coined this phrase, but it's apt: "MAGA - Making Attorneys Get Attorneys."
And on a related note, a disproportionate number of Trump's lawyers have been prosecuted, disciplined by their state bars, or sanctioned by judges. The common theme is that they sell their souls and become as corrupt as their client.
