@kaukamieli No it doesn't. I could search for, say, a picture of a cat online, but I wouldn't know exactly what kind of picture I'd be taking. Or even if it's cropped properly.

I'm just saying I see a lot of people saying they do not follow people without picture and profile.
@kaukamieli Profile I can do easily. I don't think I'll ever understand the emphasis on profile pictures though. As you said it's not a good "look." But looks are very often either deceptive or meaningless in my experience.

Shanie MyrsTear@zenohmin So the thing that boosted you, relay.fedi.buzz, is a great way to fill your home feed with hashtags that interest you. Just search/follow tags with [email protected] where TAGNAME is the tag, like bikes, and you'll start getting stuff from all around tht #fediverse.
