Same with this guy, who seems to be a faculty member with plenty of serious research before a dozen articles about ChatGPT in 2023.
Max Kreminski@samgoree i have seen those sorts of citation curves from legit researchers before, usually PhD students nearing graduation who hit it big with one or two high-profile articles all of a sudden. kinda unusual tho
@maxkreminski these weird me out because they seem to be mid-career people who don't publish suddenly posting dozens of PDFs on SSRN or researchgate specifically about ChatGPT that immediately get dozens of citations 🤔
