Some people have voted Democratic our entire lives only to be told it's never enough, no matter how well they do, because they prioritize "bipartisanship," the filibuster, and white corporate moderates whose interests do not align with voters.

If "just vote" worked, we wouldn't be in this mess. Democrats have a trust deficit. But they don't want to cede any ideological ground to anyone younger or slightly to their left. So the beatings will continue until morale improves, apparently.

Democrats snub organizers and activists who could deliver votes. They shun "culture war" issues and movement building. They ignore Spanish language media. They insist upon dead weight like Manchin and coddling Republicans as their dear friends and then don't understand why they're not trusted by more voters.

State parties even in places like New York are a corrupt joke that cost us the House.

So yeah, just yelling at people hasn't worked, isn't working, and isn't going to work.

@gwynnion
and we can see, before our eyes, the party elders cultivating a bunch of careerist centrists to take over the job of pushing down the left after they all kick the bucket
@saddestrobots Most of the party is geared around making sure it's 1992 forever.
