This was a great catch. Not one of mine. It was found in a photo from a pack horse bridge up North. You can see a horse starting to materialise and it’s coming out of a solid stone wall. I think the cover over its nose were used as protection in battle? So from many years ago. Awesome photo.
@spookybooks I’ve looked it up regarding that face protection on the horse. It was called Bard or Barding. Very interesting. Later in years the horses had full face armour. Also quite unbelievable, horses had gas masks in more modern wars. Amazing. Fab photo.
