@davidallengreen what’s Tweetdeck? Sorry I’ve no idea what it is
@GeoffD I can get back to the old web version easily enough (in Settings), but it"s kinds pointless now since the old version has been DDoSing itself for the past three or four days straight.
@jobsboils iss it because I’ve used the IOS app that I’m unaware?

@GeoffD Tweetdeck is a user interface for Twitter, vastly superior to the native app. Can view multiple feeds at once, no ads, no obnoxious "for you" content, etc.

It was originally independent but was scooped up by Twitter pre-Elon. There was an IOS app, but they killed it. So only available on the web: @teeetdeck.twitter.com

I've been wondering how long it would be before Elon fucked with it, too. Now apparently he has.

@GeoffD @davidallengreen The only sane way to use Twitter on PC (well, before it was bought by “this guy”): no ads, multicolumn interface, multi-account support, integrated “schedule tweet” function to automatically post at a chosen date and time…
@davidallengreen @GeoffD a tool run by Twitter (best on desktop) to look at multiple columns, eg your timeline, your profile, your mention, your DMs. And those of other accounts you are authorised to use. Also it lets you easily schedule tweets.
@GeoffD @davidallengreen Twitter application originally intended for companies and social media management teams. It's developed by Twitter, and has largely avoided the annoying changes like "For You" and non-chronological Tweet display. Until the new one came along.
