@damon I have seen all this during the SMS era. Lies, misinfo, shitposting, pranks, scams, propaganda... This happens when people have cheap means to broadcast thoughts. At least here we have better means to block what we don't want and look out for what we want.

@damon Completely agree. It is so hard to sort out fact from fiction and the endless bickering is so hard to take.

But. I can control what -I- post and so do my infinitesimal part and try to post good and decent content.

@damon Yes, it is seriously exhausting to have to deal with this stuff. But I guess the reason that I persist on social media is that there are also a lot of good people out there and we can have some interesting and fun discussions on here.
