More on the #Tories' strategy to wreck the #NHS & push us into the waiting arms of private #healthcare:

The work on softening us up to pay for health care is paying dividends: seven out of ten people now seem to accept (or expect) that fees for health services are on the way...

Of course, once people have accepted its normal to pay, then the private sector can accelerate its stripping off of the easy work & just leave the difficult/complex/expensive stuff to the NHS.

Seven in 10 people believe charges for NHS care are on the way

Exclusive: Poll finds large majority in UK think key principle of health service will be dropped in next decade

@ChrisMayLA6 I'd like to think that "expect" and "accept" are two different things. I expect it but I sure don't accept it.
@fishidwardrobe @ChrisMayLA6 you do have to wonder how many of that 70% fall into this category (and what they might do about it, voting Wes Streeting not being an option)

As a previous reply noted there's a lot of difference between 'expect' & 'accept' - the drive to political action lies in the strength of the not-accept aspect.... here, the general hopelessness of politics in the UK right now may lead to inaction - if so, then the bastards have won!
