Hello everybody, I joined Mastodon a few months ago, when many others did and posted intermittently (more recently) on wien.rocks. I wasn't quite sure what I was doing when I tried to move, but am now on mastodon.social, and hope I have not lost any of you along the way.

Anyway, I am a musicologist and historian, about to start work in earnest on a book on Mozart's operas (all 22 of them). Politically active too: perhaps a bit too much so at times, though maybe departure from Twitter will help.
