More on the #Tories' strategy to wreck the #NHS & push us into the waiting arms of private #healthcare:

The work on softening us up to pay for health care is paying dividends: seven out of ten people now seem to accept (or expect) that fees for health services are on the way...

Of course, once people have accepted its normal to pay, then the private sector can accelerate its stripping off of the easy work & just leave the difficult/complex/expensive stuff to the NHS.

Seven in 10 people believe charges for NHS care are on the way

Exclusive: Poll finds large majority in UK think key principle of health service will be dropped in next decade

@ChrisMayLA6 I believe in a free-at-point-of-care system but sadly, yes, I also it’s on its way. The NHS has been so underfunded that people aren’t getting the care they need.

E.g. you’re worried about a symptom that *could* be cancer, but the waiting list to be seen by the consultant is 6 months. the anxiety is affecting your mental health and you know your odds of surviving if it’s cancer are better the earlier it’s found, so you begin to consider paying to see someone privately.

@charllthomas

and of course, anxiety is the marketing-persons' emotion of choice to stimulate.... so, we can see what they're doing....
