@therightarticle This of course is entirely logical when we have a critical staff shortage in the sector - it worked ‘brilliantly’ in agriculture after all…..
@Didactylos I’ve no idea what goes on in the heads of these people. Racism, fascism and attention seeking rolled into a nasty group of excuses for human beings.
@therightarticle they are all totally mad.
@Monika_UK Completely. I’ve no idea what goes on in the heads of these people. Racism, fascism and attention seeking rolled into a nasty group of excuses for human beings.

It is a disease of lack of good love, I believe. I try to find compassion for them, while having full intention of always holding their worst traits to light. These are deeply unhappy people. Some are so deeply unhappy that they are not even aware of their unhappiness, let alone that they are a source of misery for so many people. Some are worse, when it gives them pleasure to inflict pain on others.

We can only defeat them if we hold on to our own humanity.

@Monika_UK @therightarticle - thank you for your kindness and generosity towards some deeply damaged people. Homes and so often specific types of schooling turn out people with enormous self assurance and sense of entitlement, but little or no empathy or insight.

It's a tragedy of our times that our way of living produce more and more of such people. Empathy cannot be taught. It's instilled in us by good relationships in early childhood. If these relationships are broken or interrupted, or unhealthy, which happens very often, a child doesn't develop healthy ego, which is the place where empathy exists.
