That means you can buy in with gold, which is free to earn, and win gems.

I have put $0 into arena, and turning gold into gems in Quick Draft is the main way I manage to do that. Happy drafting!

@Kathleen_LRR I too have spent $0 on Arena, but I won't think about how much I spent on paper since Arena got me back to playing paper 2 years ago. >.<
