Hey everyone! It’s been a while since I last posted here. Anyway, I wanted to talk about OneDrive since I’ve been using it a lot for my writing. I absolutely love Microsoft Word and how seamlessly I can collaborate between my computer and phone. I can edit on my computer and do some writing on my phone too. The plan I’m on offers a terabyte of storage on OneDrive, which is great.

Now, here’s the thing. I’m contemplating whether I should let go of Dropbox because I’m already paying for OneDrive. However, Dropbox has numerous sharing options and features that I find useful. But cutting costs seems like a good idea, especially since I’m already paying for OneDrive as part of my 365 subscription. What are your thoughts on this? I’m just curious to know if anyone has any insights.

@tigray Hi, Vicki! In the end it's your decision whether you should get rid of Dropbox: it depends how much you use it and how much space you need, and, if you need hardly any space, you can keep the app but use the free version.
@tigray Cutting costs is always a good option. If you don’t share any drop boxes with people and need the extra space. A couple of years ago I made the choice to switch from Open Drive to Drop Box because OD didn’t play as well with the Mac. And more people used DB than Open Drive. One Drive works for some people and is best with documents. I prefer it to Google drive. Especially if you use 365 and not Google Docs. I just cut iCloud to save costs.
@tigray Vicki, you do what's best for you concerning drop box or the hard drive. You go girl.
