@bigzaphod I haven’t managed to convince anyone but that’s probably because most of my friends had the good sense to leave the bad place long before I did. Obviously my friends are smarter than I am.

@bigzaphod Sadly, so many didn't move, because it lacks user intuitive structure for the less technical less power users. Hoping the slew of new clients though changes that.

@bigzaphod People have to realize we are in a reverse chronological feed and that is a different experience. We should have a, I don't know, a popular or most talked about feed. Something like that so that we can see some replies to a post.

@bigzaphod Maybe the real social network is the friends.

@bigzaphod sadly in my case the overlap is quite small. Some of the people who convinced me to move themselves seem to have backslid to Twitter, many others (who i thought of as real friends - ie, met them in person after meeting on Twitter) never left and bond feels broken. V happy with new friends here but nevertheless sad too, and thinking a lot about transient nature of friendships, identity etc.
