And now, Twitter is telling me that all of my activity, replies, likes, etc. "seems to be automated". All I can do is lurk. Love it.
I have an old, unused account that I can log in with and use just fine, but the problem still exists with my main. I can't tweet, can't like, DM, nothing. Help center doesn't show my account as suspended or restricted. There's no option anywhere to submit a help request. I can't tweet at Twitter support. I'm effectively banned.
Twitter started working again after about eight hours, and at least one other person I found on my timeline had the same problem, with the same window of resolution, though it appears not to have been widespread. I'm glad, but obviously not happy. Just goes to show you that at any time, the dumpster fire that is that site could arbitrarily declare you digitally dead with no warning. All the more reason for alternatives.
I did manage to score a Bluesky invite finally, though signups remain closed for now. Who knows if it'll even be worth the trouble? I'm also on Hive, though I'm still trying to figure out how to direct people to that. Bive has its own set of issues, namely being a lack of content. My feed is almost exclusively update posts from Hive itself, and it doesn't make finding other uses easy, not like Twitter or even like on here.
For now, this account will mostly remain about my creative pursuits, chiefly #TheBookForNoOne. Once I finally, fiiiiiiinally start putting videos up on my YouTube channel, I'll probably talk more about that. Twitter will be what it is until it's not. Hive... I think that's just going to sit idly by for now, waiting for a purpose, if one ever arrives.
