First time using the air fryer! Turned out delicious.
@mikemathia am I crazy or is an #AirFryer just a #ToasterOven that is round instead of square
@RedFaster no it cooks a lot faster, so uses less electricity and doesn’t heat your kitchen up like a regular oven. We have two now.
@juniejunus I'm not saying it's a junk product, I'm just saying that if you compared one to a convection toaster oven you might find it does the same thing
@RedFaster it will do the same thing ie cook food but it will do it quicker and use less electricity, it may not be for you. We don’t use convection toaster ovens in the U.K. all I’ve ever used them for when I’ve been in the USA is toast.

@juniejunus okay then I guess I should inform myself a little more on what the differences really are because I thought it was just a gimmick.

The chief benefit of the toaster oven is that precise cooking of meats and melted cheese items is far more efficient than with a full-size oven.

So if you work in a kitchen and the broiler is on the fritz then you can substitute with a toaster oven temporarily. Perfect for seafood and easy to clean.

@juniejunus oh and it's awesome for nachos but I guess an air fryer would do that just as well if you can figure out how to unload it vertically?
@RedFaster I have 2 air fryers one has a basket the other is much like a toaster oven and has a rotisserie, it does the best chicken ever.
@juniejunus If you have positive practical experience with that appliance would it be asking too much to see a photo?
@RedFaster I could but I’m in the U.K. so they probably won’t be available in the US.
