Erwan@RachaelAva1024 @cadey if I have to guess: Twitter is burning, Reddit is crashing, that's the old Internet dying. Mastodon and Lemmy are still confidential and have their own problems, whether they represent the new Internet or that would be something else it's still not quite there.

Basically, there's a transitional phase where things are falling apart but the new thing that will replace it hasn't been formed. In this period between we get morbid symptoms - not very pleasant.
