I use the Metatext app, v similar to the bird site app.
Choice of 3 feeds at the top - ‘Home’ is people I follow, ‘Local’ is all people on my instance (toot.community) and ‘Federated’ is everyone in the Metaverse.
The bottom of the app is simple, too…
