@feditips This was in Home. Doesn’t seem to be reblogged content from someone else, either. There’s much more of it in Search; I’d guess that more than half of the results that just automatically appear in search are from accounts I’ve muted and blocked. Less so in Home, but they’re still there.
@feditips It’s a mix, I think. Went through and blocked more accounts yesterday, but some were from accounts that I had blocked much earlier, months ago.
I was wondering if there was some delay on processing blocks, but clearly not :/
Could you try asking your server admin if they have any ideas? I don't know if it's in their control though, it might be a problem in the software itself.
@feditips It’s across different instances. Seeing the same thing in my other account as well on a completely different, unrelated server.
Okay, that must be a software issue then.
Can you see anything in common at all that might link the blocked accounts?
And are there still blocked accounts you don't see?
@feditips They’re all extremist political accounts and associated stuff. I don’t know if there are blocked accounts I can’t see, but even after I block accounts, I’m still able to visit their profiles and see their posts.
@feditips Ended up trying something different. If I visit the blocked account, then unblock and block the account there, it only then blanks out the profile and posts. However, the posts still show up in my timeline. Seems like the timeline never refreshes after it’s been loaded in.
