Apparently you're meant to do an #Introduction, so...

I'm a writer from the UK. I do threads mocking the political fuck-ups of the week. I've also written bestselling books taking a longer view of UK politics since 2010. I try to make it funny, even though it really isn't.

So I'll mostly be writing about that on here. And dogs.

I spent 30 years as a director-level software dude, and still do software stuff half the time, cos books don't pay. Also a painter, drummer, boxer and cancer survivor.

@RussInCheshire OK,so here’s my question. How do boxers do that skipping where they don’t seem to jump high off the ground and they seem to turn the rope just with their wrists. I can only do the type of skipping I did as a kid which isn’t very helpful when you’re trying to skip as a cardio workout.
