Twitter assumes I'm a bot. To 'protect other users', it's blocked me.

@BabsSheKing there aren't many providers with the infrastructure to replicate what Google was providing Twitter, and none of the few that are out there have much incentive to work with Twitter.

That whole "we're just not going to pay our bills anymore" philosophy works great for like 10 minutes ... until you need a new vendor who knows you're crunched for cash and a contract with you is worthless.

@BabsSheKing no idea, honestly. Maybe this is the new normal, maybe Elon has to pay cash for his private company's massive cloud storage needs going forward. He's definitely made his life more difficult for no good reason, so it's hard to speculate where his head's at or what he'll do next.

Good riddance though IMO, deleted my account there when he took over and just started here yesterday. Already starting to like it!

@BabsSheKing Same experience here. Twitter is basically dead unless you pay monthly. Oh well, Twitter is sending people to other sites so maybe that will help them all grow so no one location is so important any longer.
