Johnny ProctorI’m the furthest thing from a conspiracy theorist but when you stop to think about it. 44 billion is a very small price to pay for silencing the free speech of the left, on the main social media platform out there, if you were the type who wanted to silence them. Which almost makes me wonder if Elmo even paid a penny out of his own pocket for Twitter.
Jean C@JohnnyProctor I hadn't thought that, but it's now telling me, every time I try to Like or Reply to a post, that "This action looks as if the account is automated ... To protect our users from spam, this action cannot be completed ... " (paraphrasing)

Alan Hasell@JohnnyProctor Except it won't work. Or at least only temporarily. Other services will grow to fulfill the need. A more malicious conspiracy would have been to keep the app usable until at least the US GE in 24 and just fill it with misinformation.
@alanhasell That’s a great point. All they have now is splitting social media users up while the Post / Mas - Betamax / VHS thing goes on with people as they leave Twitter.
