Ukraine made a historic step by creating a joint stock company “Ukrainian Defense Industry” and liquidating Ukroboronprom. The aim is to make the industry less corruption-prone and more effective. Make more weapons, attract foreign investors and create joint ventures with NATO countries. NATO has been pushing for this since 2017.
