@t0nyyates I think how this plays out very much depends on whether Twitter truly implodes goes dark & forces everyone to find an alternative around the same time. That gives you a critical mass of users. If Twitter struggles on at reduced capacity it will keep enough users on it unless/until they give up. The ability to successfully re-establish good communities in a single place will probably depend on how long Twitter lasts/how quickly a clear popular alternative can take off.
