Indy Richard 🏴@sparklykitten Some folk don't want followers so keep accounts private, some have followers set to approval needed so you wan't be added unless they accept you. If you copy and post one of errors you are seeing am sure some of the clever and friendly folk here will help you out.

Ros@sparklykitten unless you've solved the issue, it will be in the way they have their account set up, they need to go into, settings and notifications and tick all the boxes. Then save at top and bottom of page.you might want to check yours too. Hope this helps.
