In the meantime if you still want to use Twitter and want to find some lovely people to follow and read during this stupocalypse, then you can add nice people to a “list” and then go to Twitter’s main nav, click on lists and then tap on the pin next to the list you want to pin.

This gives you a perfectly functional “Following” equivalent feed that still works without any throttling.

@tomcoates I have always viewed being added to a list without my consent as an immediate block so you might want to check with people before throwing them into your list.
@anotherAKGorman interesting point. I’m on so many lists at this point - mostly profoundly offensively named - I sort of barely notice this stuff any more. I will consider.
