If you really wanted to have a high kill count the best day to achieve that would be the day that gunpowder is blowing up all over and nobody would be concerned. It doesn’t happen. Because the shootings are continuous with the power of the state
Mass shootings ultimately to my mind are like an invocation of state power. The state alone has a monopoly on violence but they’re failing and so I have to take it upon myself to exercise violence outside that monopoly. Sexual and racial politics are the primary focus of shootings. And the primary focus of the reactionary mind (make trans illegal, make miscegenation illegal, etc$
