Just finished the last ep, I'm a sucker for happy endings. Lots of fastforwarding in the second half of the show like @Sollenbum mentioned they did. Some parts were just too predictable or cringe.

I came to really enjoy Dr. Zang's time on screen once Lu Fang became her "sun", she really blossomed in their love.

Was it ever explained why Xu Lai was in the hospital where she met Jin Shi Chuan when they were kids and she played the piano for him? He was there because of the car wreck iirc.

Hot Take - Jiang Xin was a terribly written character and a poor source of conflict for Xu Lai. She was just needlessly hostile, predictable, and unrealistic as an antagonist.

The writers did Han Fang dirty, labeling him negatively as a playboy when all he did the whole show was support Xu Lai, Huo, and Yu Shi Shi as friends.

I may have misunderstood him to be Huo's brother until 2/3rds of the way through the show.

I also thought Lu Xai was orphaned since her parent's weren't brought up at all until halfway through the show. 🤣

@potato Glad you found my advice useful. I found that I enjoyed the good bits more when I wasn't irritated with the parts of the drama that dragged or weren't my cup of tea. The wedding photos were very cute, though 😃
