Anyone here in academic program admin? What do you use to share documents/info with your students and alums and to foster community outside of course spaces? Considering dropping our current platform after 14 years of use and migrating, looking for options🤔
Back in 2008 when I built this community site, I assumed that students would want to have a space to connect outside of class (the digital hallway/watercooler). The reality has not reflected that, so I am also wondering if a social space w/ program info, or...
just a traditional "program handbook" and other infodump are most useful for folks. Also makes me wonder if the LMS is a space to create this info space instead of somewhere else. What do folks think?🤔
