If you've literally just signed up, I'd strongly recommend just starting a new account on another server.
The moving process is a bit complicated because it ensures your followers & follows move with you, but if you don't really have any followers yet then it's easier to just sign up again somewhere else.
Basically, you should be okay on servers listed at https://joinmastodon.org/servers or https://fedi.garden All the servers at these sites have promised to obey certain standards of reliability and moderation (https://joinmastodon.org/covenant).
If you're not sure, just pick a general server. You can always move your account if you change your mind.
