Doing my part to help twitter recover from its current and future outage problems by choosing to just not read any tweets there
@Pwnallthethings It might be that Twitter has fully recovered and works as intended. Just found this screen on Ukrainian telegram:
@Pwnallthethings I mean, I’m not even trying to read tweets there but I’m pretty sure that if I tried it wouldn’t work. =D
@Pwnallthethings It is not a bug, it is a feature. You can read 600 tweets a day, for more, you must give some moneyz to elmo :D
@Pwnallthethings interesting that we’re ultimately being kicked off. It’s probably good for us.
@Pwnallthethings Eh, you already can't without an account any more. He's doing his part to ensure people CAN'T reed tweets there. :slow, thunderous clapping:
@Pwnallthethings So the Emperor of Mars decided to limit the ability to view things on a website that derives most of its revenue from advertisers who pay to have users view them. 😀 Business genius!
@Pwnallthethings I just made an account here due to the mismanagement there.
@d34dbre4kr Welcome! I hope you enjoy it here!
@Pwnallthethings i have the website blocked on my PC and I deleted the app months ago.
@Pwnallthethings
I only regret that I have but one account to delete for my country!
@Pwnallthethings haven't deleted my account so far, but one of the main reasons is that I'm still on the BlueSky wait-list and want to be able to go back and see who has a BlueSky user ID in their bio by the time I get in.
@Pwnallthethings There are only so many views to go around, surely the noble thing is to let other people look at tweets.
@Pwnallthethings I closed my Twitter account shortly after Musk acquired it. I don't miss it at all.
@Pwnallthethings we thank you for your efforts
@Pwnallthethings I hope this will be the push that’s needed to get all the useful informational accounts like USGS to finally move to a suitable platform.
