@Optimoose @mastodonusercount you might want Lemmy instead of Mastodon. Lemmy is the reddit clone. Mastodon is more like Twitter. Here's a good explanation of Lemmy:

@rabbit_fighter @mastodonusercount thanks, yes I've been playing around with Lemmy as well. The smallness of the communities reminds me of special interest forums back in the late 2000s.
