@Patricia yeah annoying but also potentially helpful to get more people to realize and join... hopefully the moderation of communities on here can stay afloat and not drag down the fediverse

@shadowabsorber @Patricia That's actually something I like about the Fediverse (there are plenty of other things of course!). You have different instances with different moderation rules, so you can pick one with rules that actually match you. With Twitter it always felt like screaming at a wall. But yes, scalability is an issue, especially since many mods and admins are volunteers doing this out of passion. So please respect your instances rules and pick a different one if it becomes an issue!

@deepbluev7 @Patricia yeah if there is ever to big problems here shadow will migrate if possible... the problem shadow tried to address in that previous post is how a few instances of mastodon had to die because a to huge influx of users making it impossible to cover the costs of moderation and servers

@shadowabsorber @Patricia Oh, yeah, I didn't mean it as you causing problems. I just wanted to add that I really like the moderation here and that I am concerned about the mods! Sorry, I probably didn't word it well!
