the goal always seems to have been to try and turn Twitter into a diet 8chan. really, the scamming is just another component of this diet. the difference between Jim Watkins and Musk as your sysadmin is less large than one would like to imagine.

@glitch @davidgerard @ImADifferentBird Yeah, it does feel like part of the motivation could be to convert it into Parler, but with an established audience giving it a big enough presence that third parties might be more reluctant to avoid doing business with them. So remaining a part of that audience was really starting to feel like I was legitimising it

right now there's no plan outside of "don't go bankrupt", which im pretty sure could still easily happen once the people he owes debts to just cancel the contracts and go after him in court.
