Ok, so let’s get nostalgic. What was the first scene that made you think that yes, this show is one to become obsessed with?
For me it was the first confrontation with Amenadiel. There’s plenty of shows with hot, magnetic people holding forth with witty banter. There aren’t a whole lot of shows that laud scapegoats resisting the cruel demands of family.

Lucifer: I'm a star wars fan of the first hour (yes, I'm old 🙂 ) but the last years nothing really caught me. I watched L first in German - it was good but not outstanding. Then I heard that Tom sings by himself, started OV and was hooked immediately. And to this day, Tom's voice is the most fascinating thing for me. (he's great in every way, but the VOICE)

@waiting_for_the_rain @neuralcluster and additonal, it's one of the few series which get better the more often you watch - so detailed in the smallest things, great directors and writers who let the actors give their best performances and such fitting music.

@waiting_for_the_rain @neuralcluster I'm at 6-5 at the moment. I know that 6 is controversial. It's not my top season, but I like it for personal reasons.
@TanjibyLux @neuralcluster I’m not confused about servers, but I am confused about public. Like, if we have the @ tags, does it show up on our server for everyone to see or are they private? Because if we want the place seem more lively and welcoming for other lucifans, the conversation should be public on the server.

Hi, if you write a post you choose who can see it - with the globe it will appear on the public timelines (your server and all servers which are connected ->federated), with open lock it doesn't show on the public TL (of ANY server, mostly used for comments on a post, all users can still read it if they open the 1st post), closed lock -> only followers get it in their home TL, @ only @ people see it (like DM). Hope this helps a bit :)

@waiting_for_the_rain @neuralcluster so I see every one of your replies in my timeline, so it should be public. I don't know who sees it. @feditips recommends using hashtags + also following hashtags, they are easier to find.I also often check the federation timeline to see if there is anyone interesting.
I read that the hashtags were supposed to be only at the end not the middle to not annoy people with screenreaders, but I try to hashtag. Although honestly not sure that this particular post is in need of one, because what would it be? #tryingToFigureOutMastadon #makingThingsUp
@neuralcluster @TanjibyLux I’m old too. My parents were crazy religious and thought everything was satanic when I was growing up (this also helps with my Lucifer obsession) and Star Wars and Star Trek were the only 2 things they would let us watch (at the neighbors house, because we didn’t have a TV).
I think you’re right about Tom’s voice. I watch everything on Netflix that’s available in German to try to maintain a bit of fluency but I can’t do Lucifer that way.
