@gaberivera I think about these tweets all the time and it never gets old
@gaberivera pretty incredible that you found receipts for the only time he’s ever been wrong about anything
@gaberivera I always thought Musk was a genius for running a car company and a rocket company. Now I see how horribly he’s running a company in a business I actually know something about, and I think to myself: Was he ever a genius or was I just not able to recognize a poorly run car company because I know very little about cars?

@anders @gaberivera Musk is not a genius. There are plenty of reasons a business succeeds or fails, and it's rarely because there's a genius involved.

It happens, but not in this case as we can see.

@happyborg @gaberivera well, that’s very obvious now.
@anders @gaberivera for some it's been apparent for a long time.
@anders @gaberivera Musk is a genius is just a myth. He's not even an engineer. He is very good at pretending he know things, that's all.

@coinalyze @anders @gaberivera

"That's what I do. I shitpost, and I pretend to know things."

@gaberivera Not just 3 tweet views but some of us have been unable to view any twitter links since yesterday.

@gaberivera Except that Musk hasn't actually built either spaceships or cars, he's just paid other people to do so.

Not to mention that the spaceships he pays other people to build keep crashing, and the cars he pays other people to build do kill people.

Really, this is getting into "Who are you going to believe, me or your lying eyes" territory. "It is logically impossible for a rich businessman to be an incompetent buffoon, therefore all evidence that this one is one has to be invalid!"

@gaberivera I lose my freaking mind every time some gormless stan claims Elon "knows how to build spaceships". He knows how to pay others who do. Elon "knows" how to build spaceships like trump "knows" how to build golden toilets. How is anyone still pretending otherwise at this stage?

@gaberivera Y'know, most people whose decisions have actual life and death consequences generally describe it more as a "pucker factor" than as any sort of "I'm hardcore, bro" street cred.

I do have empathy for those who take on that responsibility without understanding the costs. Not for techbros like that who want to act out some savior complex.

@gaberivera further proof you don't have to be smart to make that kind of money. Just lucky and completely devoid of any morals
