@gregpak I could believe someone messed up and they’re trying to cover their tracks with a transparent lie. I cannot believe or understand this as actual policy.
@reappropriate I'm seeing folks speculating that they're behind on bills and are trying to lower usage to reduce costs as a result. Who knows! Seems like it'll kill the site either way!
@gregpak all it will take is a long enough shutdown that people get used to using a different app for even a day or two. This really might be enough to do it, especially if you’re right that this is about reducing traffic for a few days .
